Community Action's Free to Save program seeks to help low- to moderate- income individuals develop their financial literacy skills, develop a savings plan, and purchase an asset, such as a vehicle, home, business, or a degree.
Free to Save - Financial Literacy
Community Action's Free to Save Financial Literacy Service offers individuals with low-to-moderate income the opportunity to learn financial literacy skills, build habits, and transform economic goals into reality. This service provides six weeks of financial literacy classes.
Free to Save - Individual Financial Coaching
After graduating from our financial literacy course, individuals may choose to advance their learning with one of our qualified financial coaches. Coaching sessions focus on the individual's specific goals and needs.
Free to Save - Asset Savings and Purchase
The Asset Savings and Purchase service provides participants with a 4:1 savings match. Individuals need to successfully complete the Financial Coaching service prior to or during their participation in the Asset Savings and Purchase portion of the program. This service is not intended to address immediate needs.
