Homeless Voucher Program
Community Action's Homeless Voucher Program works in partnership with the Lincoln Housing Authority to secure housing for homeless individuals. Through case management, participants work on maintaining a monthly budget and develop goal plans with the support of their Family Advocate. The intent of this case management is to provide intensive in-home support by assisting participants with long-term goal setting, budgeting, and other practices designed to increase the likelihood that they will remain stably housed as they move to permanent housing.
Am I Eligible?
To Be Eligible:
1. Applicants must be eligible for and have an active application with the Lincoln Housing Authority.
2. Applicants must be homeless and lack a fixed regular and adequate nighttime residence.
3. Applicants must have identifiable case management needs.
4. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
