Child & Family Development
Location: 3258 South 13th Street (13th & Arapahoe)

The Head Start Child Development Center provides Head Start and Early Head Start programming to families living at or below 100% of the federal poverty level. In addition, the Center provides up to 6 hours of free child care daily to eligible families.
To be considered for services at The Center, parents/guardians must partipate in a combination of these activities for a minimum of 24 hours per week:
-- Working
-- Going to school full-time
-- Taking GED classes
-- Participating in a licensed treatment program
Parents/guardians must participate in home visitation meetings, socialization events, learning opportunities, and regular meetings with the classroom teacher. They are also asked to volunteer regularly in their child's classroom.
