Basic Needs Services
At Community Action, we recognize that basic needs must be met before our intensive case management can be effective in helping individuals and families fight poverty. We are able to meet the basic needs of food and shelter through our Gathering Place kitchen, which serves hot meals to the public, and through rent and utility payment assistance.
We recognize the value of the numerous other organizations that provide for basic needs in our community and work to ensure that people who come through our doors are aware of and make use of these resources.
