Throughout the month of May, INSPRO Insurance has committed a 25% match of all contributions raised up to $20,000 to support The Gathering Place, a Lincoln-based soup kitchen that serves nearly 30,000 meals each year to the children, adults, and seniors who face hunger in our community.Thanks to INSPRO's incredible generosity, this is a perfect opportunity to maximize your donation to The Gathering Place!

Recently Michael, our Gathering Place Administrator, received a thank you note written on a napkin from a young woman who found herself at The Gathering Place for the first time. This is what it said:
Today was the first home-cooked meal I’ve had in a long time. I mentioned that to the only familiar face I knew and it made me cry. Why am I 25-years-old and homeless and cold looking for a secure place to call home? But then I realized that here, I am not alone. I feel at home. I guess that’s why they call it “The Gathering Place.” Thank you from a full belly!
Many of those we serve do not have a place to call home, but if only for a short period, they feel what home is like at The Gathering Place.
